KUIHKU specialises in artisanal kuih lapis. The term ‘kuihku’ is an abbreviation of ‘kuih aku’ which means my kuih in Malay. There are two ways to say ‘my’ i.e. aku and saya. ‘Aku’ denotes a greater sense of belonging and intimacy with regards to the word or phrase it is put together with. Introducing intricate geometric shapes is synonymous with the hardwork of creating the kuih itself. The fine lines adds elegance and enhances the beauty of the shape of the kuih lapis.
